Post 5- Summary

If you want to know about how I liked researching and how I liked doing this blog, then please read on.

I liked doing gummy bears as my subject for the reasons below.

#1. I was not really a big fan of gummy bears until after I created my blog because as I learned more about them, I started to like them more and more.

#2. They were very interesting to research about and I learned lots of very interesting facts that I had no idea about.

#3. I didn't realize that there would be so many search results for pictures and information because they are not the big thing to talk about. I liked that because I didn't realize gummy bears were so popular.

#4. I was excited that I could get information about gummy bears on the Haribo website because they are actually a company and if I get information off of their website, it is very likely to be true.

#5. It seemed funny to me about why they were gummy bears.

#6. I thought some posts were more complicated and others more easy.

Here is some evidence below.

You are most likely thinking that I chose a very random topic, which I sort of did, but gummy bears were the first thing that came to my mind that sounded pretty interesting. The truth is that then, I wasn't a big fan of gummy bears, but as I learned about them more and more, I started to think about eating them more and more and the miracle was that I could actually sort of taste them. Right now you are most likely thinking that I am crazy for thinking that sort of tasting gummy bears is a miracle, but if you know me well, then you might understand why I mentioned that. It's because I rarely ever get to taste candy. We really only get it once or twice a month. I got frozen yogurt a few days ago at Woody's , and my topping was gummy bears! It wasn't until then that I knew how much I liked gummy bears. Since I knew all of the flavors and colors, it was more fun to eat them. Now, they are one of my favorite kind of candies.

Gummy bears might be a weird topic, but they were a very fun topic to research. I know way much more information then when I started. Who would have ever guessed that two different companies spell gummy bear two different ways? Or that the idea of the company came from old cold medicines? Not many people. I can't believe that they made the worlds largest gummy bear. That must have taken a long time. Same with the chandelier made out of gummy bears. That must have taken even longer! If you look at the summary post, you will be able to see a picture of both of them.

I think that gummy bears are very interesting. I might have already mentioned this, but I think that gummy bears are cooler than they seem. When I went on the Internet to look up photos of gummy bears for the back round of my title, I was very surprised that there were so many images. Since no one really talks about gummy bears, I was thinking there would not be so many pictures of them. Also, I was surprised that there were some many search results for when I looked up the history of gummy bears, because as I said, it is not the big thing to talk about around anywhere.

I really thought it was cool that I got some information off of the Haribo website. I thought it was cool because I was getting information off of it that was most likely true because it is a actual company that knows a lot about gummy bears and how they were made. Also, that was the company that created gummy bears , unlike Trolli. Hans Riegel created the company Haribo and made the first gummy bears as you might have read in my history post.

When I think of gummy bears, I think of cute, little, sweet treats. The funny thing about that is why they made them bears. Maybe it was Hans Riegel's favorite animal because it's pretty funny that most people think of gummy bears as I think of them. If that didn't make sense, what I was trying to say was that it's funny that I think of gummy bears as cute little sweet things when most people do not think of bears that way. It still seems really funny to me that they are bears, not bunnies or something cute and cuddly. Sorry if you think that bears are cute and cuddly.

I thought the history post was hard, but when I started the bibliography, I totally changed my mind. When I researched information for the history post, I couldn't find a lot of facts so I thought it would be hard. It was hard, but it was so easy compared to the bibliography. Since I had researched a lot of information because it was a hard topic, I had so many things to put in the bibliography. I also thought putting in all of the correct punctuation so it would be right. After I went on a website, I had written down the URL on a piece of paper. But after I started to do the bibliography, I realized that I had to go back to the website to see who wrote the article. After I did that it became a little easier and I got it done really quickly But I still think the bibliography was the hardest post to do.

All of my thoughts above say what I thought about doing this blog project. It was one of the best and most fun projects I have done in my life. I don't think there could be any better project. I hope you like my blog!
